The Cambridge Biosecurity Hub is working with Blue Dot Impact and APART to organise an AIxBio hackathon on the weekend of 24-26th April focused on building tools for biosecurity.
We will have multiple hubs where people meet to sprint on biosecurity problems - the hubs are London, San Francisco, Boston and Cambridge (UK).

Apply to the AIxBiosecurity Research Fellowship
ERA, in partnership with the Cambridge Biosecurity Hub, is launching a 10-week, full-time, and fully funded AIxBiosecurity research fellowship dedicated to tackling biosecurity risks amplified by recent advances in frontier AI capabilities. Our programme equips researchers to investigate ways to reduce extreme risks from engineered and natural biological threats amid rapidly advancing biotechnology and emerging AI capabilities. After a successful 2 month pilot programme, we’re excited to continue working with some of the top talent in the field.

Duration: 10 weeks full-time, during 6th July - 11th September
Location: Cambridge, UK
Stipend: equivalent to £34,125 salary (pro-rata) alongside housing provided
Structure: every fellow will be paired with a research manager & mentor
